both of these guys own property in california
I'm going to be honest. As a kid I always kinda thought that with enough boxes I could make something like this.
I'd call it "Cardboard City". Yeah… not too creative with names when you're 6.
I actually built that. I'd cram 3 friends in, too, and we'd go "…now what."
I "own property in New York", which is a nice way of saying I can't live near schools or kindergartens.
And yet the home described in that strip is probably worth more than twice as much as the home I bought a year ago on the east coast.
I only wish that were a joke.
I had a college roommate from California tell me they have two seasons over there: Forest Fires and Mud Slides. I'll stay East Coast too. hah
I remember this joke from the series "In Living Color" in the mid 90s.
Where Daymon Wayans had a pickle jar full of crap
P.S. It's the greatest insult to a comic to tell him that he stole a joke form someone else. Read Mark Twain's "What is Man?" and you'll see that everyone is an intellectual thief.
I would probally invest in a Piano-Carboard-3-Meter-Acre plot, my self….
Was I the only one who was reminded of Neuromancer by this strip?
Yes. If its reminiscent of any Gibson Novel its probably Virtual Light.
All the hip cyber-kids live in public storage spaces, or corrugated mansions. Fact.
Guys guys guys,
you're missing the fact that this is quite clearly Timelord cardboard. The house is bigger on the inside than the outside.
